Details from Book: What are you waiting for? It's your life! ~ Jim Donovan

Ask yourself this question:

What is it you have always wanted to do? What preparations will you need to make? What is your target date to complete this? Whose life are you living? Are you living your dream or someone else's dream? How much of your life is being decided by someone else? If I were starting over in my career, what would I choose to do? Taking care of yourself is not selfish. Give yourself permission to treat as someone special. Begin to set aside time to do some of the things u want to do for yourself. You will become a more relaxed and contented person, which will in turn make you a more agreeable and cheerful person with those around you. Chapter 1: Acceptance and Attitude: The last of the human freedoms is to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances ~ Victor Frankl. We can't change many situations, but we can change how we view them and how they affect us. Acceptance is the first key to lifelong success. Acceptance means accepting our self, our conditions and the world around us as it is, not how we wish it to be. It means getting out of denial and getting honest with ourselves. It means having the courage to change those things that are in our power to change. Accept yourself first and acknowledge your present condition. Say yourself everyday: I approve of myself. Life is a work of art in progress. I am constantly changing, growing, and evolving-refining a little at a time. Of course, it will never be fully completed. Life is about continually changing and growing for the better. Prolonging a negative attitude has disastrous consequences. A negative attitude robs your initiative and destroys your discipline. A negative attitude keeps us from advancing our lives by robbing us of the self-discipline, we need to improve our conditions. The fastest and easiest way I know to change from a negative to a positive attitude is to develop an attitude of gratitude. Whenever u feel self-pity or have a poor me self-talk, shift the gear and ask a question to yourself: what am I grateful for today? Write down the answers for it and feel good. Make a daily habit of counting your blessings. Chief characteristics of all the highly successful people is that they make decisions quickly and rarely, if ever change them. Taking action puts us in what is known as the path of probability. You are lot better off doing something than just sitting around waiting for something to happen. Taking action will always produce a result. If u r unsure about what to do, especially in your business, do something. Once u have accepted your situation, shifted your attitude and decided to act, next step in your way to creating the life of your dreams is believing. Whatever it is you want to change, it's critical for you to develop the belief that you can change it. Chapter 2: Beliefs:

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail? Henry ford once said: whether u believe u can, or u believe u can't, u r right. The quality of your life, your actions and your accomplishments are all determined by your beliefs. Be careful not to confuse beliefs with facts. The efforts that u expand and the results that u achieve are directly related to your beliefs. Whatever u can conceive and believe, u can achieve. Becaz of a limiting belief, we tap only a small portion of our potential, which in turn causes us to take limited action resulting in a limited outcome. Successful people assume success to be the natural outcome of their efforts. Challenge your own limiting beliefs by questioning them. If u begin to question a belief, u automatically weaken it. The more you question your limiting beliefs, the more they are weakened. Find people who have accomplished what u want to accomplish, discover what they did and model their behavior. All successful people believe they will succeed in whatever they do. They expect to succeed. They assume success as the natural outcome of their efforts. They project, affirm and visualize their success. Act as if u have already achieved your goals. Always act successful and dress successful. Think what a successful person would do in this situation and what would the person I want to become do in this situation. Your subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between real and imagined. Be open to possibilities and trust that your higher power will guide u to your highest good. I suggest that u keep your affirmations simple, positive and in the present tense. Say everyday: "everyday in every way I am becoming better and better."

Reciting your affirmations in a mirror is one of the most powerful tools that u can ever use and will speed your progress immensely. List of affirmations: 1) I approve of myself. 2) I allow myself to be successful. 3) I deserve to win big. 4) I live my life with ease and joy. 5) I add valve to everyone I meet. 6) I take really good care of myself. 7) I am a winner. 8) I am happy, healthy and successful. 9) I am fit and trim. 10) I eat only foods that nourish me. 11) Water is my fitness drink. 12) I have total abundance in my life. 13) I am wonderful, loving person. 14) Lots of money is flowing into my life. 15) I deserve all good. 16) I am relaxed and at peace. Chapter 3: Decisions and Dreams:

It's a funny thing about life, if you refuse to accept anything but the best, u very often get it. Decide to create the life you want and deserve today. Change happens in an instant. All change is preceded by a decision. You can alter the direction of your life in an instant by deciding to change. Decide now: Today I have decided I will take charge of my health and no longer eat foods that are unhealthy for my body. I will pay attention to my food intake and eliminate those foods that don't nourish my body. I have decided to begin my own part-time business in order to build a secure financial future. I will first investigate the opportunities available to me, chose one and then pursue my new biz to the best of my ability. Write down all your dreams and work towards achieving it. Every great achievement was first dream in the mind of the person who did it. The more I accomplish, the more I have, the bigger my dreams become. It's part of the natural expansion of the universe. Become clear as what u want in life and take action towards achieving it. Chapter 4: Goals: Setting goals is the pivotal point on the path to success and happiness. We cannot return from a vacation we have not taken, and we cannot reach a goal we have not set. ~ Zig Ziglar. Purpose is defined as a reason to expend energy. Your purpose will get u through the tough time. Your purpose of the reason behind your goal. Ingredients for success: 1) The belief that it could be done. 2) The commitment to make it happen. 3) The willingness to take action. Goal setting- the mechanics: The following are some guidelines for writing your goals. 1) Your goals must be written in the present tense (I have, I am, I allow, I earn etc..). your subconscious mind takes things literally. It does not respond to past or future tenses. Writing something like, "I will be having ..." Will instruct your subconscious mind to keep the goal out of reach- in the future. 2) Your goals must be stated in the positive. Writing "I will lose 20 pounds" won't work as well if it works at all. Your subconscious mind cannot work on the reverse of an idea. Negative commands like can't, won't, don't, lose etc aren't interpreted by your subconscious mind. 3) When dealing with goals that can be measured (weight, finance, etc.), be as specific as possible and have a target date. For example, a goal of "more money" is not likely to produce much of a result, it's too vague. A better way to put it would be "I enjoy owning my own partime biz and earning an additional $1000 per month on or before May 1, 2019. Set shorter, medium and Longer goals. Shorter range goal is that thrill of accomplishing them helps us stay motivated. Always give yourself sufficient time to accomplish the goal. Goals should, however be a stretch for u. Don't make them too easy, u want to challenge yourself and push the envelope to stretch out of your comfort zone. Second if u miss the goal, move the date or rewrite the goal. By setting goal, writing them down and taking action, you will succeed. Write one or two short term goals and reasons why you want to achieve them. What it will get you when reached the goal? Chapter 5: Energy and Enthusiasm: To have an exciting and productive life, to live your dreams and reach your goals, u will need abundant amounts of energy. It takes energy and physical health to enjoy life to the fullest. You are what you eat. Simply obtain 70-80% of your food from fruits and vegetables. Eat water rich foods, which includes fresh salad. If you want to eat ice-cream, eat only once a week to remain fit. One of the best and simplest overall fitness programs is to take a walk for 30-40 mins several times a week. Do meditation, it reduces stress, speeds healing, lowers heart rate, and can help u stay centered. Simply focus your attention on your breathing and quietly follow your breath as it enters and leaves your body. Make your health priority #1. Be enthusiastic. Move and walk with enthusiasm. Put some bounce in your step and stand tall. It's your life. Live it with zest. Chapter 6: Fear and Faith:

If u r to have the kind of life u want and deserve, u must learn to overcome your fears. If you never take a risk, u cannot fail. Unfortunately, you cannot succeed either. To become the person, you are capable of becoming, there will be times when u will need to take small, calculated risks. To live the kind of life you deserve, u will need to face your fears and take action to overcome them. Fear of failure: There is no such thing as failure. Every action produces a result. To break through your fear of failure, there is a 3 step solution to remember: 1) Take action 2) Gauge the result 3) Modify your action Breaking through fear: 1) Face your fears. 2) Analyze the fear. 3) Visualize success. 4) Break the pattern. 5) Go for it. Remember: "if u don't ask, the answer is always no!!" The best way to overcome fears is to develop a strong unshakable faith. When u face any challenge, focus on goal and take action. Your success is directly proportional to your faith in your ability to succeed. Chapter 7: Choices and Commitment: Begin evaluating the choices u make in your daily living. Question whether or not they r guiding u where u want to go. It's the small, seemingly insignificant choices we make daily that mold who we become. Ur life today is the sum total of the choices u have made up to this point. To change your life, make some new choices. Commitment: The one characteristic that separates successful people from the rest of the pack is that successful people are totally committed to their dreams and goals. Successful people don't give up at the first sign of difficulty- they persevere. Successful people don't give into laziness and procrastination, they have developed a level of commitment that is stronger than the urge to slack off. Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and endless plans: that the moment one commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. There is old saying: if u don't stand for something, u will fall for anything. Whatever your dreams and goals, it's your level of commitment that will make them a reality. When things don't go the way you want, it's your level of commitment that is tested. If your commitment is strong, you will get through whatever is happening. Chapter 8: Action:

If you want a big life, take big action. It's important for you to keep your part in perspective. Your job is to define and set your goals and take appropriate action towards them. Our job is to know what we want and to take action towards achieving it. Take an immediate first step. Ask yourself: what small, simple action can I take that will start my way to desired path. Write down your goals and beside to it write the simple action step to achieve it. Once u take an action towards goal, u get benefit of immediate gratification and further motivation. If you are taking action and not getting the results, either you are taking incorrect action or you are not asking enough action. Have a plan: write an action plan next to your goal, these must include: what steps will you take? What milestone will u reach along the way? How will u measure your results? Plan your work. Take at least couple of actions each week towards your goal. The way to get what u want in life is to help enough other people get what they want. Think and grow rich: by Napolean Hill, As a Man Thinketh: by James Allen, The Game of Life: by Florence Shinn, all these books taught us to use the power of our minds to become more successful. Work on daily improvements in every area of your life. If you want to succeed and grow, make a daily habit of reading and listening to self-help and inspirational books and tapes. As little as 10 mins each morning can make huge difference. U will begin your day with more positive note and second u will overtime have assimilated a lot of powerful, positive and thought-provoking ideas. Positive energy attracts people towards you. Read inspirational books and listen to inspirational tapes to enjoy the success. How many books have u read this month? Do u think its coincidence that companies like Gillette, Amway, McDonalds, delta airlines, IBM, AT&T, century 21, GM, Marriott, ford and many others have formal employee development programs, using books and tapes, to encourage success in their workforce? All you need to do is look at the sales figure for these companies to see the results of these programs. Chapter 9: Success Tools: There is no surer way along the road to success than to follow in the footsteps of those who have reached it. Mirror Work: Its powerful and puts u face to face with yourself and can even be a bit unnerving at first. Read and recite your affirmation into a mirror while looking deep into your own eyes. Visualization: Sitting quietly and picturing what you want in your life is another powerful tool, as it involves more of your senses. Be still: Sit quietly in a comfortable place where you won't be disturbed, relax and take deep breath and picture your dream. Do this exercise everyday for 5-10 mins. Treasure Maps: It can be a simple pik of a new car or things u want, places u want to visit, and feelings you want to experience. Place your treasure maps where u can see it regularly. By doing this you r imprinting your goals on your subconscious mind. Keep a journal: A life worth living is a life worth recording. Keep a journal of your thoughts, ideas, progress. Check your goals u have accomplished and to track the records of your dreams and goals. Gratitude list: One of the ways to remain in a positive state of mind is to develop an attitude of gratitude about your life. Write down all the things in your life u r grateful for, and when u r feeling down, take out your list and read it. Ideas list: Keep the list of all the ideas that pops up your mind. Some of the most successful biz in the world were built on the simplest of ideas. Never never give up!! Always always live your dreams!! A promise to yourself!!
